Audi aspired to transform their social presence to be as iconic as their cars. So we set forth to add swagger to every single social touchpoint. I’m not talking about your run-of-the-mill braggadocios swagger. Instead, it’s the type of swagger that doesn’t try hard to be something it’s not. It just simply is. It doesn’t need to tell you it has swagger. It shows you. And in the process, it makes everyone else envy it.

I helped MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER with creative development and assisted in pre-production logistics for Audi’s Q3 and S3 social campaigns. Our end goal was to create visually captivating stories relating to the characteristics of each car. More importantly, though, we wanted to get a “shit, that’s cool” response from our followers.

The Q3, Audi’s smallest SUV, is perfect for any adventure on the road, but don’t let its size fool you. It’s every bit of a car as its larger siblings. That’s why we chose to contrast it with the giant trees that make up California’s redwood forests.

Leave only light trails.

S3

For Halloween, Audi wanted to show off the S3’s fierce yet sleek exterior. We thought what better place to juxtapose the S3 than an old, abandoned amusement park. Oh, and while we’re at it, let’s have Edgar Allan Poe be the voice of the car.

Thrilled me, filled me fantastic terrors never felt before.

His eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming.

And my soul from out that shadowthat lies floating on the floor shallbe lifted – nevermore!

Each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
