The Olympics

2020 marked the first year Salesforce was an official sponsor of the Olympics. To announce to the new partnership, we introduced during the Olympics, Salesforce’s primary character, Astro, in a series of video bumpers and other marketing content used by our teams worldwide. I helped the team conceptualize everything from the outfits, sports, and poses, as well as overseeing the production of animated and still characters for the Tokyo and Beijing Olympics brand kit.

BEIJING OLYMPICS

We followed up the summer Olympics, with a fresh theme for the Winter Olympics, which centered around teamwork. Cody the Bear was introduced as Astro’s loveable teammate. We created a new set of 3D characters for our global marketing teams to use during the Olympics.
