Personal Capital, an online financial advisor and wealth management company, needed a significant boost in brand awareness despite being around for over a decade. This opportunity led to a complete rebrand focused on enhancing lives through technology and personal relationships. I collaborated closely with the marketing team to transition from the old brand to a new, vibrant identity. Over several months, we implemented the new look across every touchpoint, from the website to client collateral, blog, and emails.

Personal Capital’s blog had established itself as a trusted source of financial information, but it needed a refresh to stand out. I was tasked with redesigning the blog to improve its visual appeal and organization. By reorganizing the hierarchy of information, I created a layout reminiscent of high-quality editorial publications, making it more engaging and easier to navigate.
One of my key projects was redesigning the retirement savings calculator, one of Personal Capital’s most valuable tools. The new design enhanced usability and made the tool more accessible and user-friendly.
I also helped design several landing pages to create a seamless user experience, provide a clearer understanding of the products, and include more explicit calls to action. These efforts ensured a cohesive and engaging experience across Personal Capital’s digital presence, effectively supporting the rebrand and improving user engagement.
