After 15 years since its last major release, Halo remains one of Xbox’s most beloved franchises. Microsoft challenged us to create a campaign as epic and emotional as “Believe,” aimed at exciting both veteran gamers and a new generation. We evolved the story from “Believe,” where Master Chief made us believe in him, to “Become,” where he inspires us to believe in ourselves.
I collaborated with 215 McCann to develop the “Become” campaign platform. It was the first concept pitched to the Xbox marketing team, and it captivated them immediately, becoming the cornerstone of our strategy.

Our campaign emphasized that heroism isn’t exclusive to Master Chief; throughout history, ordinary people have risen to become heroes. The campaign featured inspiring stories of everyday heroism, showing that we all have the potential to become our own versions of Master Chief.
For the first time ever, the face beneath Master Chief’s visor was revealed – and it was everyone. Through an innovative online digital experience, fans could scan their faces and see themselves as the game’s hero, embodying the spirit of Master Chief.
