As a kid who grew up in the 80s, I’ve probably seen The Goonies at least 100 times over. No joke. If you too are a fan, chances are, you may recall the opening scene where the police are chasing the Fratellis in their ORV – four-wheel drive, with bullet holes – onto the beach with the giant haystack-shaped rock in the distance. That scene was a motivating factor to visit the Pacific Northwest.
